About Sofia

My name is Sofia, and I'm 23 currently living in Brooklyn. I graduated summa cum laude from Scripps College in 2025. I have 7 years of paid experience as a nanny, 2 of those in New York City. I currently work part-time as a Teaching Artist at Treasure Trunk Theatre, a performing arts summer camp and afterschool program. I manage a classroom of up to 16 children, primarily ages 2-6. I am warm, intuitive, and I hope to work with children for the rest of my life. I got my EMT certification in 2021, and have completed the required renewal process every two years since. I can perform CPR as well as prevent infants and children from choking. I have a driver's license. I have many references in the city that I would be happy to connect you to if you are considering my application! I love spending time outdoors, arts and crafts, playing music, imaginative play and collaborative storytelling, reading, and working on developing speech and language skills with children. I do not smoke.
