About Sloane

I am currently a preschool assistant teacher at the Waymen Palmer YMCA. I developed lesson plans and activities for three to 5 year olds in a classroom to facilitate an active learning process and proper growth. I also have to complete quarterly assessments on the children's development and planned activities to foster growth in lacking areas. Also I have to help the lead teacher engage students and keep them interested in the subjects.I create fun activities that the children can relate to in order to aid them in learning. Also I have managed a classroom of up to 10 children by myself. While working at the YMCA I have also had the pleasure of working with children six to 12. At our facility we have a before and after school progam and it is always a pleasure to help out with the older children when my help is needed.
