About Sloane

Hi there! I'm Sloane, a second grade teacher living in Congress Park, Denver. With four years of awesome classroom experience under my belt, I've honed my ability to build positive relationships with children and their families. During my time at the University of Vermont, I had the privilege of mentoring a young adult with autism. Together, we engaged in various activities such as hiking, biking, and rock climbing. Through this experience, I learned the importance of tailoring activities and communication to meet individual needs. In high school, I taught snowboarding, coached lacrosse, and babysat children as young as 11 months old. These experiences shaped my ability to connect with children and create positive environments. From July 6 to August 4, I am looking to become a full-time babysitter for a family in need. I will also be available for occasional babysitting during the school year.
