About Sloand

I've always genuinely loved being around children and helping them learn, grow, and have fun. I have over 15 years of experience caring for children from newborns to 13 years old, and I truly enjoy building strong, trusting relationships with both kids and parents. I previously worked at the YMCA in the child care center, where I gained experience caring for children of different ages and personalities in a fun, active, and safe environment. I also regularly help care for my nephew, which has made childcare an even more meaningful part of my life and something I truly enjoy doing. I especially love getting creative with children through arts and crafts, imaginative play, reading, and activities that encourage them to express themselves and use their imagination. Whether it's helping with bedtime routines, homework, playtime, or simply making a child feel safe and cared for, I always try to bring a calm, patient, and positive energy into the home.
