About Skyler

Hi! I'm Skyler, a responsible and caring babysitter with experience caring for children in family and community settings. I'm patient, dependable, and focused on creating a safe, positive, and fun environment for kids. I like working with kids because I get to watch them grow, learn, and discover the world. Their curiosity and honesty are grounding, and being around them reminds adults to slow down and appreciate the simple, meaningful moments. I started working with kids back in 8th grade, when I first volunteered to help with younger students. Later, I worked at a summer camp, helping kids grow and thrive in a fun environment. I even babysat some of my campers outside of camp, which deepened my love for supporting kids as they learn and navigate the world. In my spare time, I love to cook--I even had the fun experience of being on Chopped! I'm also a coxswain for Dartmouth's crew team. Beyond that, I enjoy crafting, running, and writing poetry.
