About Skylar

I'd describe my personality as warm, energetic, and responsible! I like working with kids because I love how creative they are and I love to be a part of their journey of growth. I started working with kids when I was a freshman in high school. I have worked with kids from ages 18 months to 12 years old. I have experience with working with children who have special needs. My family just moved back to the Cape after living in Los Angeles CA for 30 years. In my spare time I have been exploring my new community. I love going to the beach, walking around town, and taking drives up to P-Town. My skills include active listening, I believe it is so important for children to feel heard. Another skill I have is creativity. I love doing arts and crafts with the kiddos, dancing to music, and playing with their toys. I also am a quick problem solver. I have had many jobs where I have to make quick decisions and de-escalate situations which I believe translates to childcare.
