About Skylar

Hello! My name is Skylar and I am a passionate fourth grade teacher eager to make learning fun and accessible for all children. Having taught in Virginia for the past two years, I am very familiar with the Virginia Standards of Learning and assessments. I have extensive experience working with students with learning disabilities, gifted students, and students learning English as a second language. As a tutor, my goal is to build a child's confidence in their academic abilities so they can thrive within their classroom and reach their fullest potential.
