About Skye

Hi! My name is Skye, and I am an Elementary Education major at North Carolina A&T with a passion for working with children and helping them learn and grow. I enjoy being a positive role model and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where kids feel comfortable, confident, and encouraged. I have several years of childcare experience through babysitting, mentoring, volunteering, and working as a teacher assistant. I've supported children with homework, daily routines, learning activities, and creative play across different ages and personalities. I also have experience leading youth learning workshops where I planned and guided hands-on educational activities, encouraged teamwork, and created engaging lessons that made learning fun and interactive. These workshops helped strengthen my leadership, communication, and classroom management skills.
