My prior Senior care experience is being a companion to the elderly. Taking the elderly to appointments and to the grocery store and helping them out with things they can not accomplish on their own . I have also worked with people with dementia having one individual living at my home with dementia. I got to really know how it was, and how to help . I was finding ways on the phone to keep her mind occupied and keep her mind active . I also had a woman with dementia that I would go to her activities with her, so she did not have to go alone, it gave her husband a break from the every day stress of living with someone with dementia.
