About Simon

I started working with kids as early as 5th grade, when I would volunteer at my local church camp. Babysitting, volunteer work, and tutoring make up a large portion of my childcare experience. I like working with kids because I learn something from them every time. They offer me a significantly less jaded perspective that, as a 21-year-old college student, I could really use. In my spare time, I like to play and watch sports, with basketball and baseball being my favorites. I also am involved with singing groups at Binghamton University and enjoy making/listening to music. More recently, I've started to enjoy cooking! I also watch movies, play video games, and read to pass the time.

Our family cannot speak highly enough of Simon! He has been a caregiver to our two boys for years. He has not only been an incredible caregiver to them both, but also a role model on many levels. Simon's kindness is complimented by his intelligence, passion for life and learning as well as his love for music and sports! Simon always had our boys participating in games, activities or sports when he was with them and was always present with them. He is punctual, trustworthy and always goes the extra mile. Anyone who is lucky enough to work with Simon with be thankful! We miss him!
