About Simone

I gained all of my CNA experience at the Maine Veteran's home(2018-2019). I began my career with the Veteran's home as a PSS(Personal Support Specialist) assisting residents on the unit with daily grooming(oral, hair, nail, and perinea care), application of necessary medicated lotions/ointments, and assistance with activities of daily living as needed. Within three months of working at the home I earned my CNA certification on the Skilled Nursing Unit portion of the Maine Veteran's home and began working under that title. I am fluent in charting activities of daily living, transfers, eating, and hygiene along with providing a report of patient condition at the end of each shift. I am trained to transport multiple residents to and from activities and to appointments as necessary.
