About Silvana
Experience: 10 yrs
Hello! My name is Silvana and I have been In Santa Cruz County for 16 years but I am born and raised in Italy. I love working with children, I have good sense of humor, I love food, and the fine arts. I have experience as a Teacher's Aide and as a nanny for nearly 10 years! I appreciate Montessori, Reggio Emilia education, CCC and Positive Discipline principles for childcare, as well as mindfulness practices. I also have 9 ECE units. Activities I enjoy introducing to children are the love for drawing, gardening, cooking, playing music, reading books and going out into nature and being gentle with pets. I am attentive to routines and sleep/feeding schedules. I am respectful of parenting styles and I am safety conscientious. I have an excellent driving record and I drive a Toyota Prius hutch. I have a degree in Art History and Digital Media. Please reach out if you would like to meet me :)
Most recent review
Silvana took wonderful care of our daughter over the last year and a half, before our daughter could attend preschool. She was reliable, kind, patient, and caring. We truly appreciated her help and would happily recommend her!
