About Sierra

As a parent, caregiver, and educator I seek to bring mindfulness, playfulness, and teaching to each experience. With a Montessori based philosophy I seek to teach children practical life skills, emotional intelligence, and community based problem solving skills. Fostering curiosity and kindness is important to me as well, and can be brought into most experiences. With an MA in Transpersonal Ecopsychology and as a certified outdoor educator outdoor play and free-play are essential in my work. A connection to nature is great for mental health and provides endlessly learning opportunity and fun!! I practice mindful parenting techniques and an attachment parenting framework. Children thrive when they feel safe and their needs are met. I have experience with infants through teenage years, including twins. A chef for 13 years I can prepare nourishing holistic meals for your little as well! Setting the foundation for healthy habits is so important!
