Hi, I'm Sierra! I am a special education teacher whom has a masters degree in early childhood and am also working on my severe disabilities degree! I currently work as a severe special needs teacher for a school that focuses primarily on kids with Autism. I absolutely love teaching and can't picture myself working in any other field! I have 10+ years of experience in childcare/education. I absolutely adore working with kids, it is my passion! There's nothing more rewarding than working with a child and watching them grow and learn so many new skills. Teaching really is the best job in the world! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your family better :)

Sierra was a blessing for our family. She worked for us over the summer of 2017 for about two months, and was very professional and dependable. She was very punctual, and arrived to work early every single day. Wow! Sierra is a very good communicator - which is very important to us - and consistently gave us updates on the two kids, etc. She looked after our 1- and 3-year olds on a part time basis, and was wonderful. We were sorry to see her leave us to head back to school. She was a terrific caregiver for the kids, and drove them around to parks and beaches near our home when not supervising play time, feeding, and arts and crafts. Sierra worked hard to help them learn and grow with arts and crafts. She was also very good about not using her cell phone during the time we were paying her to watch our kids (except to communicate with us) - another important aspect to the job, we felt.
