About Sierra

For over a decade, caring for children has been a meaningful part of my life. As the twin of someone with intellectual disabilities, I developed patience and empathy early on, which continues to shape my work. I began by helping with my younger siblings and babysitting throughout high school. I then became a nanny while earning my degree in Psychology and Human Development from UC Davis. Most recently I cared for twin boys up until I welcomed my own son late last year. I would describe myself as a gentle, patient, and attentive caregiver who truly values creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment for children to grow and thrive. I respect each family's unique approach to parenting and always strive to follow your lead, keeping communication open and consistent in whatever way works best for you. I'm also happy to help with meal prep, light housekeeping, and carpooling to make your day-to-day life a little easier.
