About Sidney

Hello! My name is Sidney, and I'm a 22-year-old from Potomac, MD. I'm looking for a summer position (June - August) supporting a family in the Rockville/Potomac/Bethesda/DC area, ideally working with 1-3 children and a regular schedule with 30-40 hours per week. I have a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and will graduate in May with a Masters Degree in Special Education. I've worked as a one-on-one inclusion counselor for multiple summers at my sleepaway camp. I have three different student teaching experiences, including Kindergarten, middle school learning support, and elementary autistic support. I've worked with a variety of students and feel comfortable working with children who have diverse abilities and needs. I truly love working with kids and pride myself on being patient, structured, and engaging. I'm happy to provide academic support over the summer while also keeping things fun and active!
