About Shreya

I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding and engaging. I like tutoring because I like students to achieve their full potential. People often struggle silently or think that needing a tutor is a sign of weakness but I think that learning should never be a struggle and asking for help should be easy. I started tutoring when I was in college. I tutored college students in math and biology because of my own academic background. I have a BS in Microbiology, a Master of Public Health degree, a Master of Science in Health Communications and am currently pursuing a PhD in statistics (I am a fifth year student). In my spare time, I like to cook new recipes and read about world events. One thing you should know about me is I help with homework but I never do the child's homework for them. My skills include math, reading and science.
