About Shona

I have been working in this field for over five years now. I started at an assisted living home in my hometown when I was in high school. I have worked in home care, assisted living, and nursing home settings. My skills include but are not limited to: housekeeping, meal prep, medication management, transportation, bathing, toileting, dressing, wound care, memory care, diabetic care (BG monitoring/giving insulin) and just about everything in between. I do have my CNA and CMA certifications from the state of Georgia (they are out of date now due to no reciprocity) as well as five years worth of memory care training, fire safety training, diabetic training, CPR/first aid, wound care, hospice/respite care, etc. I have been out of the industry since having my daughter but am eager to get back to work now that she is in school. The elderly are my passion, with that being said I would love to get to know you and your loved one!
