About Shirin

I'm Shirin and I'm a Neuroscience and Spanish bachelor's graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno. I'm fluent in Farsi (or Persian) and I speak Spanish! I'm dedicated, respectful, diligent, and fun-loving and I instill these values in the children I care for. My interests far exceed the confinements for science, language and knowledge. My hobbies consist of music, reading, writing, hiking, sports, playing games, creating art, etc. My mother is an early education instructor with the University of Nevada, Reno and my mother's wisdom surrounding childcare has made me recognize how to create a healthy, positive, creative and educational environment for children. I have been nannying for families of my mother's childcare facility, as needed. For many years I served as a volunteer who worked summer camps and school years in a kindergarten classroom. I love helping and caring for children in any way I possibly can; I can't wait to meet the kiddos (and pets!) and do the same for yours too!
