About Shina

I'd describe my personality as athletic, funny, responsible and independent! I like working with kids because I enjoy having a positive impact on the lives of children whether that is helping them with their homework or helping them explore their imagination! I started working with kids when I was 15 volunteering as an Art Teacher at a summer camp and continued to work with kids while in college. During my junior year, I volunteered at a high school as a mentor by guiding students through the college application process. In my spare time, I like to play soccer, go to the gym, do research at UC Merced and spend time with my 3 dogs! One thing you should know about me is that I am responsible! My skills include being bilingual, patient, and being a great communicator
