Private Caregiver -My dad lived with sarcoidosis for over 20 years after being diagnosed when I was 10 years old. Caring for a sick parent became a normal part of my life. Over the years, I helped care for him before and after work by assisting with meal preparation, showers, exercise, medications, doctor's appointments, and whatever else he needed day to day. He did pay me to be his aide at a point in time, but caring for him was much more than a job. I spent years being one of his main sources of support, which taught me patience, compassion, responsibility, and how to care for someone with long-term medical needs. I have experience a few other elderly people I've worked with, I'm also a mother and I'm very good with kids, I have worked with children mainly but Im open to care to everyone , children, adults & pets!
