I found my first childcare job on this site in 2012. I was with that family for 10 years, only leaving because Covid sent us all home on Friday, March 13, 2020. Little dude and I cried when we hugged goodbye because we had grown up together! When allowed out again I went back to care. com and found my current job. I've been with this family for four years. Mom's hours have changed so they won't need me after June 12, although as the "third grandma" I will be available to them on weekends. I have a spotless driving record. I am available afternoons, evenings, and occasional weekends. I love being creative, arts and crafts, trips to the library, Music, dancing, and lots of imaginative play. I am not a big fan of staring at the TV. Please contact me if you have any more questions! I love children which is I think the biggest prerequisite to these jobs!

Sherry has been out after school sitter for several years now. She has been a wonderful caretaker for our kids. Importantly, one of our kids is neurodivergent and requires extra patience and flexibility. Sherry has been great at adapting to our kids and their needs. She is calm, patient, and flexible and our kids are very comfortable with her. She has been so easy to work with, too - great and communication and willing to work with our schedule. The only reason Sherry is available now is that we will be out of town most of the summer and will not need a sitter - otherwise she would be working for us! I highly recommend Sherry - she will be like another grandparent for your kids!
