About Shermie

Hi my name is Shermie! I enjoy supporting families and making a real difference in children's lives. With three years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to teenagers, I bring patience, creativity, and a friendly demeanor to every interaction. I have lots of experience being a nanny to children ages 5 months to 8 years old. The rest of my experience with older children comes from volunteer work at summer camps and being a Sunday school teacher at my church. I have a college degree and maintain current certifications in CPR and First Aid. I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and communicate updates using their preferred method, whether through verbal updates or regular texts. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a nurturing and fun environment where your children can thrive, and I look forward to the possibility of becoming a part of your family's support system!
