About Shellie

Hello! I am a National Board and Texas certified teacher with over 25 years of classroom experience. I've taught first grade up to middle school in multiple states in the US, as well as in several countries abroad. I'm also Special Ed certified and have worked with many students on the autism spectrum, in addition to other neurodivergent students. I believe that children need equal amounts of love, guidance, creativity, and clear boundaries and expectations. Additionally, I am the proud mom of a happy and thriving teenage daughter. After over two decades of teaching in public schools and seeing major shifts and student behavior, administrative requirements, and academic freedom, I am eager to take all of my strengths and experiences to support children and families.
