About Shelley

I am a certified Secondary Science Teacher, licensed EMT, registered medical assistant, Handwriting without Tears specialist, home-school mom of 1. I have been homeschooling my son N since Kindergarten he will be 14 in the Fall. It has been my pleasure to have the ability to home-school my son since the beginning. I have assisted him in becoming an independent learner over the last few years. This year we are focusing on further developing our emotional intelligence. I am familiar with the zones of regulation through N's OT therapy. With homeschooling there are many joys and many struggles you encounter daily. Your day can change rapidly depending on what kind of day the child is having and how they are processing sensory information that particular day or moment. The skill that believe I have developed over time is the ability to state information in a variety of ways to help my student understand the material.
