About Shelley

I have worked in healthcare my entire professional career, in clinical, management and consulting roles. I am now retired, but desire to provide outstanding care for a senior female, where I can make a difference. I am honest, trustworthy, devoted, compassionate and treat my clients like family. For 10 years, I worked with an individual who has a rare orphan disorder, causing seizures, cognitive and physical challenges. During this time, I also worked at an in-patient hospice facility (6 years), providing direct patient care, end of life support and family guidance. Most recently, over the last 3. 5 years, I had the privilege of providing one-on-one care for a person with moderate to late stage dementia, who resided in a memory care facility. My previous professional career had been in occupational and wellness medicine, allergy/immunology. Certified Dementia Specialist CPR/AED certified for health care professionals.
