I was there for it all, from tiny babies to moody teenagers, and I loved every stage of it. Looking back, that's really where I learned what it means to show up for a child, day in and day out. Today I'm a mom to two wonderful kids of my own, ages 8 and 11, and being their caregiver is still the most important job I have.
