About Shellee D

Shellee has been the answer to my prayers. She has been taking care of my 90 year old mom. Who has mild progressing dementia. She is so patient with my mom and helps her with anything in the house. Makes her bed, helps her shower. Which is a huge relief for me as I live out of state and wasn't sure my mom was showering as needed. My mom has a small dog who most including me don't like. My mom loves the dog and Shellee is great and walks the dog. My mom is on a walker and Shellee insists she gets out and gets air and gets a small walk. She drives my mom to the grocery store or wherever she needs to go. While Shellee is there it's the only time I'm confident she drinks water other then that she drinks Coke. Not what the doctor wants. Shellee is very good about ensuring whatever the doctor says happens. She is outstanding communicating with me with daily written summaries. So helpful for an out of state daughter. My mom can be difficult to make happy. She loved Shellee as soon as she met her. Shellee has more patience then any one person I've ever met. She has lots of experience of handling dementia patients. She calms my mom down in seconds when she's upset or confused. I feel like I've won the caretaker lottery. One never knows finding a caretaker online and then interviewing them via the phone. It was important to have as perfect a person to care for our 90 year old mother. Shellee on her own went and met my mother to be sure this would be a happy match. It has been. You will not go wrong hiring Shellee for your loved one. You have my word.
