About Shelby

I am 23 years old and have several years of experience working with children of all ages. I often babysit for my nieces and nephews (who provided plenty of diaper-changing opportunities) and have had the pleasure of caring for children from countless other families as well. I briefly worked at Soccer Shots teaching kids 3-10 years old to play soccer. I have worked in the kids ministry at church with elementary schoolers. One of the most fun and involved experiences was when I volunteered for two summers at Camp Allendale as a camp counselor for middle school boys and girls. From preparing bottles to homework assistance, I love interacting with kids and seeing the world from their unique perspective. I am passionate about childhood development and parenting. I am currently working towards a masters degree in occupational therapy.
