About Shelby

Hi! My name is Ash! I have a masters degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus in Outdoor Education. I work as a river guide in the summer and sit on the Board of Directors for local non-profit Girls on Shred. I have training in trauma-informed childcare, have my WFR & CPR certifications, and lots of experience in childcare & education with kiddos ranging from 3-16 years old. I am looking for a seasonal job until my season starts late spring/early summer. Thanks! I'd describe my personality as quirky, curious, & playful. I like working with kids because it's deeply fulfilling, allows me to keep a playful spirit and simultaneously challenges me to continue growing as an adult who hopes to one day parent my own kiddos. I started working with kids when I was 17! In my spare time, I like to snowboard, skateboard, knit, hike, make jewelry, & cook!
