About Shelby

Hello! My name is Shelby, I moved to Austin January 2019. I have three professional years of childcare experience in a lead teacher position at a learning center. While working there I gained experience with ages 0-3. I would plan out a daily schedule and age appropriate activities. I have taken college course work in both child psychology and child development. I also have taken online training courses on SIDS/Shaken baby syndrome while working at a learning center (this was a requirement to work with little ones). I have three years on professional nanny experience with the same family since moving to Austin. This has helped me learn how to manage a home and keep a child engaged and happy through the day. I am passionate about education and love to watch children learn anything new! I am confident that I will be able to provide a fun, educational and safe environment for your child(ren).
