About Shelby

Hello families! My name is Shelby, and I'm a mom to three wonderful children ages 9, 4, and 2. Currently, I am spending the summer in New Haven in order to complete a law fellowship at Yale. My academic background includes a BA in Family Studies and a MS in Crim. Justice. I am now a rising 3rd year law student at USC. While my children are back home due to my travels for education, I deeply miss the joy and dynamism that come with being around young ones. I'm looking to bring my nurturing care to your family, not only to supplement my income but also to reconnect with my passion for caring for children. I have a strong record as a safe driver and am adept at planning engaging activities or fitting into the existing routines of children of all ages. Moreover, my experience as a former Army medic has equipped me with essential life-saving skills and medical knowledge, ensuring that your children will be safe and well cared for under any circumstances.
