I started working with youth in 2012 and continued working with youth and families until 2022. In 2022 I began working at an early childhood center with infants, toddlers and prek as well as elementary aged children. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, including my daughter. Taking care of all of my animals, dogs, cats, horses, and traveling to new places. One thing you should know about me is that I am passionate about keeping children safe and healthy. My skills include CPR and first aid, creative and play-based teaching practices and patience. I have had trainings in trauma informed approaches, descalation behavior techniques. Shelby has been in our children’s lives for the past four years. Undoubtedly one of my best caretakers and babysitters. From the first time with my three children and beyond. The first year of my youngest being in her care I knew she was going to be family right away. She is caring, knowledgeable, respectful, fun, and outgoing.
