About Shelby

Hi! My name is Shelby, and I'm a mom myself to my daughter. I have about 5 years of experience caring for children ranging from newborns to 11 years old, and I genuinely enjoy being around children and helping them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I'm patient, calm, and attentive, and I try to meet each child where they are. I enjoy playing, reading, doing crafts, puzzles, and age-appropriate activities that keep children engaged and learning. I'm also happy to help with light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying play areas, washing bottles, or helping keep things organized. Because I am a stay-at-home mom, my daughter, would need to accompany me while I provide care for your child(ren). I understand that this is not the right arrangement for every family, but I'm hoping to connect with a family who is comfortable with the children spending time together. I believe this can be a wonderful opportunity for children to have a playmate.
