About Sheila

Nurturing children's growth and making a meaningful impact on their lives have been a passion of mine for many years. I have been working with children since I was 13 years old, beginning through my churches childcare program where I cared for children ranging from newborns to 12 years old. I also have experience working with kindergarten through 8th grade students through aftercare school programs and summer camps with the city of Lathrop. I am currently pursuing a career nursing and have coursework in early child development, which has strengthened my ability to provide patient, attentive, and nurturing care. I love engaging with children through outdoor activities, educational games, creative, and meaningful interactions while creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment, where they can grow and thrive. I am a reliable and support system for families and truly enjoy building connections with children and their unique personalities as well as their families .
