About Shay

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. My 20 years of experience caring for children aged 1 to 12+ have equipped me with patience, creativity, and an easy-going approach that children respond to. I am comfortable caring for up to four children. I have a college degree. My previous babysitting roles and desire to positively impact children's lives motivated me to become a caregiver. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I keep parents informed with written daily reports, verbal communication at pickup, and regular updates via text or phone call. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to the opportunity to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family. I am available for school breaks and holidays for longer hours if needed from what it stated my availability is.
