About Shaylee

Hi! I'm a graduate student with 9 years of childcare experience and CPR/First Aid training, including EpiPen administration. I've cared for children from infancy to age 11 in babysitting, school settings, a hospital daycare (infant room), and a kindergarten classroom. I focus on creating a calm, safe, engaging environment where children feel supported and can learn and grow. I'm currently looking for a summer/seasonal position. I would describe my personality as thoughtful, warm, and driven. I enjoy working with children and take an intentional approach to childcare, focusing on emotional security, creativity, and engagement. I value communication and building trusting relationships with families. I am especially comfortable with infants and younger children. I began babysitting as a teenager and have 9 years of experience. In my spare time, I enjoy crafting, spending time with family, and walking my dog.
