About Shaylee

Hi! I am a 21-year-old college senior graduating with a degree Computer Science and Mathematics. I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. My experience started as a summer camp counselor where I spent multiple summers providing engaging and calm childcare. I have 5 years of experience hosting children's birthday parties where I was able to provide children with a fun and memorable experiences. I began babysitting in 2023 and have experience with children of various ages following routines and plans while also engaging in playtime and learning. It is important that I can connect with the families I work with and appreciate the time it takes to get to know the child individually. I currently work as an assistant teacher at a daycare and have experience with children as young as infancy. I am CPR and First Aid certified, as well as a mandated reporter. Child safety and constant open communication for the wellbeing of the child is my top priority.
