About Shaylee

I was a daycare teacher for 3 years and I taught ages 6 weeks to 12 years, I did lesson plans, crafts, diapers, and potty training. I created monthly menus, ordered and prepared the food. I would love to take kids to the splash pad, playground, even running errands. I was a nanny for 6 months but the drive was adding 2hrs to my work day and it wasn't worth it. I like working with kids because kids are fun to be around and it's important to me to create the best childhood I can for anyone I can. I started working with kids 4 years ago at a daycare as a 1 y/o teacher. I also did babysitting for family before that. In my spare time, I like to cook, workout, and hang out with my husband. My skills include patience (screaming doesn't bother me so if a child is put in a time out and screams about it I will not lose my patience and I will stand my ground), creating fun (sometimes things get messy but as long as I can clean it up I will probably do it).
