About Shayla

I'd describe my personality as caring, hard working and dependable. I like tutoring because it offers me the opportunity to help the youth and create long lasting learning/study skills. I'm looking for a job that allows me to assist with building self confidence in learning and the ability to help with developing fundamental learning skills. I've never tutored but I have taught elementary school for 3 years, coached for 1 year and participated in a before school learning program (with focus on history, cooking, technology, reading, and art). In my spare time, I like to read, spend time with family, and play and watch sports. One thing you should know about me is I believe every child is teachable. My skills include writing, math, reading, and science.
