I did informal tutoring through Jr high and high school, and then in college I was employed by my University as a supplemental instructor. In this position, I tutored students in both private and group settings, I also created weekly lesson plans and taught an extra class once a week for these students. I started this job in person and needed to adjust to online during the pandemic. In order to work in this position, I was enrolled in a diversity, inclusion, and equity course that helped me learn how to help students from a variety of backgrounds.
