About Shawndra

Hi, my name is Shawndra and I love tutoring. Ever since I was in elementary school I enjoyed helping my classmates with their work. I used to tutor at an after school and summer camp for about 3 years from ages K-5 with their English and Math work. In high school I was in Beta Club and Honors Society; graduated with a 3. 82 GPA. I am very thorough when helping and always try multiple ways to make sure the child is understanding. I'd describe my personality as kind, smart, and patient. I like tutoring because I don't like the way it feels to not understand things. It can be hard for kids to get some things in class and I want to help. I'm looking for a job that is flexible because I have a full time night job. I'm looking for 4 days a week maximum in day time. In my spare time, I like to draw and cook. One thing you should know about me is I grew up in a big family of 12. Coming up I babysat and helped around the house often, so childcare is something I was brought up on.
