About Shawna

I am a recently graduated Chemical Engineering Ph. D. looking for a little extra work in Bozeman over the 2023 summer before starting a job at Dartmouth College in the fall. If you have a student who could use some help catching up on courses, or need some help looking after your kids for a date night or some time off during the day, I am available to help. I spend a lot of time watching my neices and nephews (ages 1. 5 yrs through 11 yrs), and have extensive experience organizing and participating in child-focused science, technology, math, and engineering outreach. I also have past experience coaching and referring youth hockey with the Gallatin Ice Foundation and Thrive's "Girls on the Run." Although I am 28 now, I also had a storied highschool career nannying, babysitting, and helping run summer camps for kids.
