About Shavonne

I am a certified Med tech (Board of Nursing) and mental health professional. I am 42years old and have over 23 years of experience in the human services field. Caring for individuals has always been a passion of mine. It is encrypted in my DNA as evidenced by an extensive list of ancestors who have worked in public service, hospitality, and human services. I discovered my love and niche for senior care at the tender age of 14. This was during a youth summer program for Brooklyn Developmental Center in New York as a youth opportunity counselor. It was here that my hunger to help, support individuals, and provide companionship to those in need was fulfilled. When I graduated from high school, that same hunger and passion steered me to pursue an education and career working with diverse clients and their families. Being knowledgeable, as well as morally and ethically healthy, provides me with the ability to pursue the highest excellence level.
