Hello, I'm Shauntae. I'm new to the area and am looking for the opportunity to work with a wonderful family. I grew up in Utah and as the oldest of my siblings caregiving has always been a part of my life. My background of caring for infants, toddlers and youth started when I was 16. Working as a Respite worker for a child with cerebral palsy on and off for 4 years. After graduating high school I moved to acquire my associates degree. Afterwards I moved to pursue my education at Southern Utah University studying Family Life and Human Development with an emphasis on Child Development. While attending school I worked at an after school program for children with disabilities. I've previously acquired First Aid, CPR and AED training, SOAR training and food handlers permit. If hired I'd be willing to renew some of those trainings. The last few years I've been kept busy with raising my sweet baby boy. I'm looking forward to finding the next family I'll be working with!

Shauntae watched our son for 6 months (age 4-10 months old) and then I decided to stay home with him permanently. She was super sweet with him and he would light up when her and her son would come over. We loved having her son here to play with our son so he would gain exposure to other children. Shauntae was very respectful and took great care of our baby. We were sad to have her go since our baby loved her so much, but our situation changed.
