I have a masters degree in early childhood education, 20+ years experience teaching, CPR & First Aid certification, and passion for play-based learning. I'd describe my personality as detail-oriented, organized, and playful. I like working with kids because I love seeing their joy and sense of pride when they accomplish new tasks, and I love the enthusiasm they bring to even the most mundane activities. I started working with kids as a kindergarten and first grade teacher before leaving the classroom to teach my own kids at home. Now that my children are teens I am excited to return to my passion and area of expertise and work with kids under the age of 5 again.
