About Shatima

I've taken care of children most of my life, starting with my mothers at home daycare. As a young girl, I'd help my mother with the daily tasks, which gave me a love for this job. Growing up, I was a camp counselor for my church's youth summer camp every year until my senior year of high school. When I was in my mid 20's, my mother fostered 2 children at ages 1 & a newborn. I then became the caregiver for 4 & 1/2 years, until the youngest could start school. I not only provided care for both children by myself for 7-8 per day, I also did the house cleaning as each day progressed. It is my love to be nurturing & my love for children that drives me to be in this industry, & give you & your children the best experience.
