Hello, My name is Shasta, I am 22 and a recent graduate of EKU. I received a bachelor's degree in Math and Stats and a minor in music. I have 3 younger siblings 19, 12, and 12 that I helped raise. Outside of the family I've also done group care during a high school play as many children from 3-12+ needed looked after. There have also been multiple occasions where I have watched over my neighbor's kids (3) ages 2-16. I have also had many unpaid experiences for newborn and other kids as it may have been family friends. With my free time I enjoy socializing, playing outside, games, music, and drawing. I am currently employed as a dance instructor and private tutor. Why I want this job: I love working with children and pets. Kids have a positive view on the world and are almost always outgoing and cheerful! Not only do I profit because it is a job; but it is something I thoroughly enjoy.
