In home quality patient care, a liaison between client, family and healthcare professionals. Daily documentation and reports for my protection and the patient. Preparing food and if necessary assisting the client. I assisted with bathing and personal hygiene as needed. Most clients want to be independent so I was always there shadowing but understood their needs to keep their independence. I was in the home for the safety and protection of the client. I was responsible for light housekeeping. Most importantly I became a companion and in time a friend to both client and family.
