About Sharon
Experience: 10 yrs
I taught middle school math in the public school for 5 years, then stayed home with my own kids for awhile and have been tutoring for over the last 5. Within recent years, I have also taught classes for homeschool students and conducted math workshops for small groups of students. I currently tutor students from a wide variety of educational backgrounds: public, private and homeschool, at all levels: elementary - Algebra 2. I also have a degree in therapeutic recreation and have used some of those skills to create a unique multi-sensory style of tutoring. Additionally, I have experience working with kids with ADHD, ASD, dyscalculia and other learning issues. In addition to tutoring, I teach swim lessons and Zumbini. I also volunteer at a camp for kids with disabilities in the summer and serve at many local philanthropies.
